SM03 / Social Media Management

The profile people check before they buy, handled properly.

We cover strategy, content production, and community management across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Pinterest. Organic work only; we don’t run ads, and we’ll say why.

Someone encounters your business, then, before calling, checks whether you’re real. Four seconds later they’ve decided something.

"A profile last updated in 2023 answers a question you didn’t want asked."
/ What this is honestly for

A conversion argument, not a visibility one.

This isn’t AI visibility; our generative engine work handles that, and pretending social feeds language-model citations would contradict what we tell clients on the GEO page.

Every acquisition path you fund, search, answer engines, referral, the map pack, terminates at the same moment: a prospect verifying you’re worth their money. Social profiles are where that happens. When they’re strong, conversion improves everywhere upstream. Most agencies sell this backward.

/ Three components

Strategy, production, community.

01

Strategy

What to publish, which platforms deserve effort, which formats suit your business. Some businesses need LinkedIn and nothing else. Others live or die on video.

02

Content production

Graphics, video, and copy. How much per month depends on strategy and budget: a restaurant and a B2B consultancy have almost nothing in common. All available à la carte.

03

Community management

We answer comments, respond to DMs, and moderate, using your account, guided by your brand, for the sanity of the person who asked a question at 11pm.

/ Why no ads

Separation of concerns, applied to marketing.

Organic and paid are different disciplines, and agencies bundling them frequently subsidize weak organic work with ad spend, then report the combined result as success.

Someone else can handle your ads. We’ll build the profiles those ads point toward, and be judged on work you can evaluate directly. Everything publishes only after you approve it.

/ Which platforms, realistically

Seven available. Most shouldn’t attempt all of them.

Pinterest serves visual commerce and rewards patience nobody expects. LinkedIn works for B2B and wastes effort for a plumber. TikTok demands volume that kills unprepared teams. YouTube compounds slowly and outlives every other channel. Instagram remains the default verification surface for consumer businesses, which is why a dormant one costs you disproportionately.

Choosing badly is expensive. That’s what strategy is for.

/ Frequently asked

About Social Media.

How many posts per month should my business publish?

There’s no universal number, and anyone quoting one hasn’t asked about your business. Cadence depends on platform, audience, format, and production budget. A LinkedIn presence posting twice weekly with substance outperforms daily filler. What matters more than volume is consistency: audiences and algorithms both read abandonment as a signal. Publish what you can sustain indefinitely.

Will social media help my business get cited by AI?

Marginally, and it isn’t the reason to invest. Language models draw primarily from web content, publications, and community discussions rather than brand social accounts; our GEO service exists for citation work specifically. What social does is convert the attention those channels generate: someone sees your name in an AI answer, checks your profile, and decides whether you look worth calling.

Who owns the content you create for my accounts?

You do. Graphics, video, copy: everything produced under retainer belongs to your business and stays yours if the engagement ends. Your accounts stay in your name with credentials you hold. We work inside them rather than owning them. Ask any prospective partner who owns the login; the answer should be immediate and unambiguous.

What happens when someone posts a negative comment?

We respond, publicly and without defensiveness. A calm, factual reply to a legitimate complaint often persuades onlookers more than the complaint damaged you. Genuine problems get acknowledged and moved to DM. Bad-faith provocation gets a brief professional reply, or nothing. Deleting criticism generally escalates matters, and anything genuinely serious reaches you before we reply.

Do I have to approve every post before it goes live?

Yes, and this is deliberate. Nothing publishes without your sign-off. Some clients find this tedious by month three and ask us to proceed independently, which we’ll discuss but generally resist. Your business bears the consequences of anything published under your name. Approval workflows slow things down; they also prevent the category of disaster that ends relationships permanently.

Why don’t you offer paid social advertising?

Because organic community building and paid media buying reward different expertise, and combining them creates a reporting problem: an agency running both can compensate for weak organic performance by increasing ad spend. We’d rather be judged on work you can evaluate directly, and happily build the profiles a capable media buyer’s campaigns point toward.
